Rusted Engines: War of Decay

Synopsis

After an apocalyptic event ravages the earth with natural disasters, Mankind is left with the remains of their now-ruined society. Small towns are few and far between, and humans build pilotable mecha out of the remains of past technology to traverse the now devastated landscapes. Years later, gossip of a remaining city known as Ironhelm with an abundance of resources begins to surface, and rumor has it that it's gates are open to the public.

Oliver McCormick lives in a wasteland known simply as The Dunes. As a Junker who specializes in salvaging and refurbishing tech, Oliver spends time rummaging through piles of broken relics to find parts they can sell, adding any they cannot to their custom mecha Theseus. Oliver is one of many who drop everything to journey in the supposed direction of Ironhelm hoping to secure their place within the walls of the city.

Utilize cards with various effects and costs to defeat the bandits and hostile Junkers you encounter during your journey. Managing the Armor, Stability, and Heat values of Theseus is the key to victory. 

Customize Theseus

Theseus has components that can be interchanged with whatever you happen to find lying around, and each part has a different selection of cards that can be played during combat. Wielding a massive chainsaw allows you do deal high damage while a portable acetylene torch lets you cook your enemies inside their own mecha. Alternatively, strap a barbeque to the back of Theseus and enjoy slow roasted pork whenever you want.

Choose a path

There are as many adventures as parts on the ground! Each journey to Ironhelm features a randomized map, events, and enemies so no two playthroughs are the same.

Executables are intended for 1920 x 1080 resolutions.
